My work spans technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, innovation, and education, with a career built around helping promising ideas move toward real-world opportunity.

Trained as an engineer and later in business, I have worked across universities, startups, established companies, and entrepreneurial ecosystems. My experience ranges from evaluating and commercializing emerging technologies to venture development, innovation strategy, and building experiential entrepreneurship programs with an international focus.

I am especially interested in the point where technology meets opportunity: determining where an innovation can create meaningful value, identifying the assumptions surrounding existing approaches, and exploring alternative ways a technology or idea might be applied.

That perspective also informs Seeing Beyond Assumptions, my current book project on mental models, opportunity recognition, and innovation.
